LOCAL ROCKER GOES FOR
SOLO ALBUM

Fans of local band Reborn can now look forward to grabbing a copy of lead singer Ame's first solo mini-album.
The Album which has five songs, was composed, arranged and produced by the easy going Ame, whose real name is Suhaimi Osman. "It is quite a versatile album, with 60% to 70% rock and the rest comercial and light classical music" he added. He said the mini-album was an independent production. "The album is called "Aku & Duniaku" the music is about me and the reflection of who I am" Ame said.
It took him about six months to write and produce the album. The five songs are:
.Don't Let It End
. Kisah Lalu
. Mencari Erti

Album Review/Descriptions

"Aku & Dunia-ku" it's not for me to compete with anybody or to be a popular artist. It is just an idea to keep some of my composition and make it as a collection items(album). Most of the song arrangement, cords progression and skills are originally from my own music library, which i use it as a music tempelate/references and some of back-up track for my students. So this is why some of them, even my good friends and music lovers keep on asking and adviced me to make this exclusive album for them to have a reference which is look or sounds in a standard song arrangement.
For the past 20 years i've been a professional musician,
thus i would like to change ideas & share my experienced in music industry with all the musician around the globe.

Musicians Review

Jon Lord talks about his Hammond organ sound

Words from Jon: more concerts, more Hammond

Hi everyone
Just a quick couple of things.
First and foremost, thank you all so much for the questions and the very kind and sometimes moving comments you have posted on the website.
From people who have seen me play lately, from people who’ve not seen me for a while and from those who’ve never seen me at all
- they are all gratefully recieved.
I’m happy that you are enjoying Durham Concerto, Boom of the
Tingling Strings and Disguises.
They, amongst other works, have occupied my time pretty much from the year in which I left the Purps.

Although I am still writing like a man possessed, I am now moving towards doing more live work - both with orchestras and also with a ‘Jon Lord Band’ project which will include more Hammond (+ second keys, guitar, bass, drums,
percussion and a sing-ist), some new stuff, and one or two carefully selected songs from the past that I had a small part in writing!

I hope too that I will soon be able to answer some of your questions specifically
- such as “When are you coming to such-and-such a place?” and so on.
I will try to make my comments to the site a more regular thing too.

In the meantime, stay well and keep the music with you.

God bless
Jon
